In the physical sciences, entanglement refers to sets of date that cannot be described independently of one another. In a more general sense, it refers to a complicated relationship of complex situation. It can also be useful in describing integrated arts research.

Artist Janet Biggs, mathematician Agnieszka Miedlar, and physicist Daniel Tapia Takaki collectively produced and presented a project that used the time-based media of video to explore questions in particle and nuclear physics through novel mathematical techniques.

This work was commissioned and supported by the Integrated Arts Research Initiative (IARI) at the Spencer Museum or Art in collaboration with the Arts at CERN.
